Working closely with the El Dorado Hills CSD, we have carved out a Phase One portion of the project to get it started. We will be able to develop the Memorial parking and the Entry Plaza, flag poles with our American and military flags and a monument that will list the names of our local heroes lost in recent conflicts. This public listing of the names is the catalyst that started this project, the driving need to be sure our community will never forgets these young heroes.

The El Dorado Hills Rotary Club did it again! They created an amazing event, a great time had by all, AND they named the Veterans Memorial Park as one of the event beneficiaries. It is with gratitude and thanks that we accept $5,000 contribution from one of our founding supporters, the El Dorado Hills Rotary Club.

Woodhat an amazingly community minded organization! They coordinated a great event to support Veterans groups on April 29th at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. They included our project in the proceeds. We were so surprised and grateful to receive a $1,000 donation from them! Thanks to the organizer Michael Van Ry and all that participated!
